Sharon Allen has recorded a wonderful new album that mixes classic covers (Townes, Kate Wolf, Billy Joe Shaver, Delaney and Bonnie) with her own original songs. Her voice is fully her own, with a pleasing timbre and just the right amount of twang. Beautifully recorded acoustic arrangements complement her effortless, understated vocals.
